Jamie Anderson is attributed with the now well-known saying “Grief is just love with no place to go”.
Grief is something that we all experience throughout our lives. It encompasses tangible endings in life to jobs, careers, health, relationships or loved ones. It also includes intangible losses such as our identity or dreams. Non-bereavement losses are often overlooked in society, leading to unrecognised pain. Acknowledging and processing these losses can help us to reconnect to joy, creativity, people and the community around us.
I hold a safe space for you to become present with your feelings through embodiment. Decades of experience processing my own grief has made me more compassionate, whole and connected to both myself and others. It is not a quick fix. It's a lifelong journey of healing, synthesis & personal growth from the inside out.
My passion for this work has led me into depth coaching, embodiment, yoga and ultimately, I am now honoured to be a qualified Grief Yoga teacher. Here to support you to process your challenging emotions, through flowing with grief.
Signs of unprocessed grief in the body can include:
* Profound sadness, anger, guilt, shock or numbness;
* Fatigue, sleep disruptions, headaches or a weakened immune system;
* Brain fog, difficulty concentrating or intrusive thoughts;
* Social withdrawal or restlessness.
My classes provide a safe space to process your feelings of grief in a gentle, compassionate and non-judgemental way.
With a maximum class size of 6, this is an intimate, safe healing space. Open to, and supportive of all stages of grief.
