Although the competition season is now over, the club will open every Thursday at 7.30pm throughout the summer.

Congratulations to Kirk for winning the Rapid Shoot Competition last Thursday with an impressive score of 74! 🥇 Tony came second 🥈 and Ben a close third 🥉

It’s Rapid Shoot Night tonight! 🤩

There are 2 separate rapid shoots, one for juniors and one for everyone else.
The format is 20 shots, shot on 2 cards with 10 shots on a card. There is a time limit of 90 seconds for each set of 10 shots.
For juniors you are allowed to use the pre charged rifles, but for everyone else you are only allowed to use club guns with a manual cranking set up.
To make it even more difficult, no shooting trousers or jackets are allowed and on top of that while you are shooting some of the other members will be trying to put you off. 💥

Wheeler Knockout Competition Results:

It was a fairly good turn out with 9 members shooting which did mean we had to have a preliminary round. 2 shooters were drawn at random with Ben and Jasmine getting chosen. Jasmine struggled shooting on paper and was knocked out by a more consistent Ben.
Some shooters were very optimistic with their handicaps and struggled to get close to the 200 mark.
The quarter finals were good for some and not good for others with some regular shooters struggling to shoot at their usual standard and being knocked out. The semi finals were the same with Steve beating Kirk by a big margin and Tony, one of the newest members, knocking out Ben to progress to the final.
The final was the closest match of the night with just 1 point separating the 2 shooters with Steve Baudains taking the winners spot.
