Les Ormes Ladies Golf Club

Today we welcomed the lovely ladies from Les Mielles Ladies Golf Club for our annual team match. The weather was super and the matches very close with some great golf played.
With 9 of the 10 matches complete it was all square but I’m delighted to say that Les Ormes Ladies Golf Club won and retained the trophy.

Thank you to the Les Mielles ladies, it was an absolute pleasure to host you today. We always have such a lovely time, with lots of chat and laughter.

On Tuesday we played our annual match against the ladies of Royal Jersey GC, friends old and new. In VERY windy conditions the match was drawn so the trophy is retained by Royal Jersey Golf Club. Thanks for hosting us and the super lunch 😘- see you at Les Ormes next year!

Sheila joined the ladies on Friday to celebrate her big day and brought loads of delicious homemade cakes with her too.

Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great but we didn’t let the rain dampen our spirits!

Les Ormes Ladies took to the greens, with a touch of green, for Lady Captain’s Day on Tuesday 17th March. ☘️⛳️💚

We also had a practice run on Saturday 14th March where again the ladies showed up wearing something green. ☘️⛳️💚

We had two great days of golf, with lots of sunshine and enjoyed St Patrick’s Day themed goodie bags. ☘️⛳️💚

Also, thanks to the generosity of our ladies, we have now donated 29 new books to Every Child Our Future - Jersey our chosen charity for 2026.☘️⛳️💚

We had a fun evening at our annual presentation night at Les Ormes Resort, with prizes presented by our Lady Captain, Marcella.

Great food, lots of laughter and some bubbles helped us celebrate a very successful 2025 for the ladies.

We are also delighted to announce that our Lady Captain’s Charity for 2026 is Every Child Our Future, who are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year.

Yesterday we played our traditional season finale, a "friendly" match between the Captain's team and the Hon Secretary's team. This year a win for Carole - congrats!

Jersey Golf Open Forum is happening on Wednesday 26th November at Royal Jersey.

We had a wonderful morning playing our annual match against the La Moye ladies. Delighted to host old friends and new - even more delighted to win back the trophy!
