Rusty edges. I know the ski trip has ended, I know you are wallowing in depression but you’ll likely go sgain…… so…
Damp skis + damp bag=NO
Dry skis + damp bag=NO
Damp skis + dry bag=NO
Dry skis + dry bag=YES
Take the skis out of the bag…..Dry your skis and you bag for a few days before you put them back in the bag and away. Wipe the edges, carefully as they will cut fingers!!!
Edges are steel, they will rust if they are wet or damp. I then need to file the edges to access decent material to sharpen. Excess filing shortens the life and efficiency of edges. It also shortens the life of my files!! Store them dry…..
This applies to boards too!!!
I feel better now…..
I’m getting busy so don’t leave it too late. I’d rather have equipment early. I have never not completed a service in time. Please label all equipment with name, contact details and date needed. Please!!!
