Back to back wins as the fish win 3-1 today away to St Lawerence first team.
Maximum points taken so far and leads us nicely into our first cup game of the season next weekend away against St Ouens over 35's!

Huge news!

After some negotiations and an interpreter we are delighted to announce the appointment of one of our own… Allan Littlejohn as our new manager!

The club and squad are delighted with the news and we can now get to work on the tough job of improving our outstanding year last year!

Onwards and upwards for the fish! 🙌🐟

As we look ahead to the new season we thank Jay and Kyle for everything and wish them all the best in their new roles at St Ouen.

But we as a squad are looking to improve again from last season as we bid to compete at the top and settle some unfinished business from last year!

With a heavy heart I’ll be stepping down as Res manager at St Brelade.

It’s been a brilliant season and I wish everyone at the club the very best of luck for next season.

Myself and Kyle Hampshire have decided to take on a new challenge with an offer from St Ouen to be 1st team manger for next season, an opportunity that was difficult to make and difficult to turn down.

Both of us have done a life sentence at St Brelade and felt it was time to go and try our luck with a first team.

The final curtain in what has been a fantastic 1st season in management.

From being a side who struggled for wins, struggled for points and finished in the bottom section of the championship last season, averaging a point per game over 18 games we finished on 19pts just above the relegation zone. To now a title chasing side, in cup finals and pushing for success.

The boys have done themselves proud, they have done the club proud and fully deserve a night out full of banter. Fun and laughter.

I’ve had a near 20yr love affair with this beautiful club and I can honestly say the players, this season have driving this club to riches, from 1st team, Res & Cs they have all put the effort in this season to all finish in the top half’s of there respective leagues, with our C team taking total dominance by winning the title. 

Here’s to a brilliant night ahead and awards to the boys who really stood out this season for the Resdogs xx

Works in progress for a pre season Tournament

We are in discussions with St Peters FC to start an annual football event every pre season.

The format would consist of 3 teams entering.

We are looking at the 16th July as the date.

Essentially we will play 30 min games round robin style and have one round where you are back to back.

This will create quite quick and high intensity games which is good for fitness and helps to create a bit of an event come the final.

It will involve all 3 sides to a club, such as First team, Reserves & Cs.

Each teams will get 3pts a win & 1pts a draw, the club with the most overall point tally from all 3sides
Will take home the trophy and be crowed “Best in the West “ champions.

Commencing 7th June venue TBC: Time TBC

We will be holding weekly 90min football sessions.

This is the calm before the storm and before pre season starts in July.

A good way to keep the ball rolling, progression continuing and focus firmly back on the objectives to be fighting for the title in the Championship.

Please share far and wide: We are always looking to recruit and build on the squad.

So any players U18 - senior level who fancy seeing what it’s like to swim with the fish, please feel welcome to come along.

Next season we will be pushing to win everything we are in, easier said than done considering the competition in the championship, however you got to be in it to win it, set up as you mean to go on.
