Hi all.
Firstly I can’t seem to change the page name so even though it says 2016 this is all about 2021.
It’s been too long since we ran a Battle and the team have been on at me for a few years to get the Battle back up and running and are frothing to put on another epic event.
So returning in September 2021
A 2 day Paddle Board racing event.
1 x distance - 8km
1 x beach surf race - 5km
1 x technical sprint - 1km
And for 2021 we will be introducing a Waterman race. Swim, SUP, Prone.
We’d like to hear from you in you would be interested in attending this event.
And also any suggestions.

If for some strange reason you're not following Chris Bertish and his Atlantic SUP crossing then you should be.
Have a read of his latest Captains log
So that's it for another year.
Thank you to the sponsors for making it happen again - Sure, Starboard, Jono's Watersports and Ozouf Design.
Thank you to Steve Ascroft, Richie Langford and Andy Dawson for supporting me again during the event so it all ran smoothly. Couldn't have done it without them!
Thank you to all the lovely people that came down a little early and helped to get the event site ready.
Thanks to Catherine and Tim R for the photos and i think Tim A got some water shots of Race 2 so stay tuned for those.
Finally thank you to all the competitors for turning up on what was a pretty miserable day and making this a great event to put on and also watch. The conditions were tough and all did amazingly well.
Congratulations to all the winners!!
I hope you liked the new, slightly more relaxed format.
All the best
John.
