The JIMF Motoring Festival is in full swing and the island is absolutely buzzing. After kicking off on Thursday, itโ€™s rolling right through the weekend โ€” and today and tomorrow are packed with action.

If youโ€™ve never been, this is one of the standout events in Jerseyโ€™s sporting calendar. It brings in huge numbers of competitors and spectators from overseas and really shows off what our island can do.

If youโ€™re looking for something to do this weekend, get yourself down there and soak it all in. The atmosphere is unreal.

Massive thanks to Dylan Northcott at North Media for the brilliant snaps๐Ÿ“ธ

Celebrating our incredible volunteers ๐Ÿ’™

Yesterday, we were delighted to host our Volunteer Summer Social at Maison des Landes โ€“ a fantastic opportunity to bring together and thank some of the amazing people who give their time, energy and passion to sport and physical activity across Jersey.

The timing couldn't have been more fitting, taking place during Volunteers' Week, a national celebration of the invaluable contribution volunteers make to communities across the UK and Channel Islands.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our community. From coaching and officiating to organising events, supporting clubs and creating welcoming environments for participants, their dedication keeps sport and physical activity thriving.

At Jersey Sport, we are incredibly grateful for the wonderful volunteers who help keep our island active. Your commitment, enthusiasm and generosity make a real difference every single day.

Thank you for everything you do. ๐Ÿ™Œ

We're incredibly proud to see Ryan of Home Farm Equestrian Jersey continuing to fly the Jersey flag on the national stage and achieving fantastic success in dressage. ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿด

As a member of Jersey Sport's Performance Sport Programme, Ryan exemplifies what can be achieved through hard work, dedication and a passion for sport. His commitment to excellence, both in training and competition, continues to inspire everyone around him.

As a talented Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) dressage rider, Ryan is also a powerful reminder that sport has the ability to break down barriers and create opportunities for people to achieve extraordinary things.

Congratulations, Ryan, on your latest success. Weโ€™re proud to support your journey and look forward to seeing what you accomplish next.

Wowโ€ฆ look at our Ryan out there flying the Jersey flag and absolutely smashing it as always! ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ชโœจ

We are beyond proud to have Ryan as such a huge and very loved part of our Home Farm family. Watching all of your success, hard work and dedication is so special, and we canโ€™t wait to see what you achieve next.

Keep doing what you do, Ryan โ€” we love cheering you on every step of the way! โค๏ธ

Incredible to see one of our own performing on one of the biggest stages in football. ๐Ÿ‘

Growing up in Jersey, it can sometimes feel like the pathway to elite sport is a difficult one, but Callum Osmand is a fantastic example of what can be achieved through talent, dedication and hard work.

For young athletes across the island with big dreams, Callumโ€™s story shows that the pathway is there. Jersey can produce players capable of reaching the very highest levels.

A brilliant role model for the next generation and a moment the whole island can be proud of.

Well done, Callum!๐Ÿ€โšฝ

A great example of the Jersey Sport Bike Bus in action at St Martin's School Jersey๐Ÿšฒ

Itโ€™s brilliant to see pupils travelling to school together by bike, building confidence, independence, and enjoying an active start to the day.

Miss Cadoret is helping bring the Bike Bus to life, sharing her passion for cycling and encouraging more children to get involved.

We asked her why she wanted to start the Bike Bus?

Miss Cadoret said: โ€œTo get more children riding their bikes and enjoying it!โ€

A simple idea making a real difference to the school run, as part of the wider Bike Bus initiative from Jersey Sport.

"I achieved things I never thought possible."

That's how Serena described her experience on the Jersey Sport Referral Programme.

When Serena joined the programme, she was looking for support to manage knee pain and osteoarthritis. Just 12 weeks later, she was stronger, more confident, and had achieved something she never thought possible โ€“ completing a 5K charity run for the JSPCA. ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ’ช

"The programme has genuinely changed how I feel physically and mentally. I achieved things I never thought possible."

Serena's journey shows that with the right support, small steps can lead to incredible achievements.

๐Ÿ‘ Join us in celebrating Serena's success.

๐ŸŒˆ Pride Month 2026 ๐ŸŒˆ

Sport has the power to bring people together, build confidence, create friendships, and strengthen communities.

This Pride Month, we celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and recognise the importance of ensuring that everyone can access sport and physical activity in environments where they feel welcome, respected, and valued.

At Jersey Sport, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to participate, compete, volunteer, coach, officiate, and enjoy sport as their authentic selves.

Throughout June and beyond, we'll continue championing the positive role that inclusive sport can play in helping people thrive.

Pushing the limits of human endurance. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ”ฅ

What Kalem Taylor achieved last week is nothing short of extraordinary.

Over five days, Kalem covered 241 miles and took an incredible 518,010 steps in support of Jersey Cancer Relief and Mind Jersey. It's a remarkable demonstration of determination, resilience and mental strength, and a powerful reminder of what the human body can achieve when pushed to its limits.

A huge congratulations to Kalem on an outstanding feat. ๐Ÿ‘

๐ŸŒŸ National Volunteers' Week ๐ŸŒŸ

This week, we celebrate the incredible volunteers who give their time, energy and passion to make sport happen across Jersey.

From coaching and officiating to organising events, supporting clubs and helping participants thrive, volunteers are the heartbeat of our sporting community. Their dedication creates opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy the benefits of sport and physical activity.

The images shared here feature just a handful of the volunteers recognised through our Volunteer Recognition Scheme over the past year. They represent the thousands of volunteers across Jersey who make a difference every day, often behind the scenes and without seeking recognition.

To every volunteer making a difference โ€“ thank you. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ’ฌ We want to hear from you! Comment below and give a shout-out to a volunteer who keeps your sport, club or organisation ticking. Let's celebrate the people whose hard work, commitment and passion make sport possible.
