Michael Peterson has won the latest fly fishing competition with 8 fish with Wayne 2nd and Roy Laverty 3rd it was a close run match again with only one or two fish separating the positions.
The war. Weather woukdnt of helped but has promted the fish to move further up in the water after being very deep the last few weeks.

2nd Fly Competition this Sunday 8.30 draw fish 9 till 12 at Queens valley.

Good morning all we are currently working on repairing some boats so that we can introduce more boats to our waters. Hopefully they wont be tooo much longer and we can introduce them to our waters.

A boat is now ready to use on Val, a manual bilge pump has been fitted and new pipes are on order, there are some screws sticking up under the seat, please avoid these, a better repair will be performed soon.
The boat must be locked with the padlock through the chain and not the loop on the cable. For padlock code please contact Darren, details in the rule book.

Ross Bannerman fished a excellent match to clearly win the Dereck Morris memorial Trophy.
Lost fish proved a bit of a problem for the chasing pack early season rust maybe 😃

A great turn out on Saturday from club members to help stock some of our waters meant we managed to move around 800 trout. Club members will receive emails to say where they were stocked.
If this is something that interests you why dont you join the club membership forms are available at all the fishing tackle shops.
Big thank you to all those that turned up to help out. As well as moving the trout it is a bit of social morning as well with plenty of banter.
