SUMMER HOLIDAY TIME TABLE 2024

Pony Mornings 9.30 - 1.00 Wednesdays (and depending on demand Mondays and Fridays). Including half hour lesson, followed by a half hour hack. The children learn how to look after a pony for the morning. They get taught how to clean a stable, poo pick a field, fill haynets, mix feeds, brush and tack up a pony, and they ride for one hour. All participants receive a certificate. (A family member to come back at 11.30 to lead for the hour).

Or 10.00 mon, tues, weds, thurs, fri one hour hack, or one hour lesson, or half hour hack followed by half hour lesson. (For riders without a lead rein).

Or Mon, Weds, Fri 3.15 half hour lesson.

Or Mon, Weds, Fri 4.00 half hour lesson.

Or Tues, Thurs 11.30 half hour lesson.

Or Tues, Thurs 12.15 half hour hack.

Please pay cash or cheque in an envelope with your childs name on it.

All ponies on all rides, that need leading, to be led by a family member.

(I might also be able to do another day or time, if none of the above is suitable, including a weekend, as I have other rides available Saturdays and Sundays).

🌟This is just a reminder to please contact Donna’s mobile (text is best) on 07700334848 for any booking enquiries.

🌟Both Donna and myself do not have time to check the page often enough to keep up with messages so you are best to contact her directly.

🦄How do I book a ride? If you would like to book a ride please text Donna confirming age, height, weight and any riding experience so we can match you up with the most suitable pony/horse. We offer lessons and hacks for all ages and abilities.

🦄 What do you offer for children? For pony mornings and parties please also text Donna. Pony mornings and parties are a great way for eager children to learn all about looking after ponies, including mucking out, grooming, tacking up, feeding and riding. Pony mornings are held in school holidays and birthday parties on weekends.

🦄How old does a child need to be to ride a pony? We offer hacks for small children from 3 years old with parental supervision and lessons for children aged 5 upwards.

🦄 When are tides available? Private and groups available everyday of the week, please contact Donna for availability.

🦄Do you do gift vouchers? You can purchase gift vouchers for any value which are great presents for children or as a surprise for a loved one. These can be purchased from the stables, just pop up and we will help you.

🦄Do you offer trial lessons or discounted taster sessions? We do NOT offer ‘trial lessons or rides’ at discounted rates. You can however book one off rides as well as regular lessons.

🦄Is Covid impacting the availability of horse riding lessons? Due to Covid, we have had to reduce the amount of people who are on the yard at a time therefore you may need to join a waiting list.

🦄Do you offer beach rides? We do NOT offer beach rides. Our hacks are mainly around rural St John on quiet country lanes.

🦄Can I volunteer as a helper? We offer opportunities for student volunteers through school and college in the Trident Work Experience Programme. Should you wish to enquire about volunteering otherwise please text Donna.
