We are beyond sad to have said goodbye today to our gorgeous, oh so characterful Krummy. He brought us so much joy, unconditional love and we miss him terribly. Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. Only 24 hours ago we were walking him on his favourite beach. Life is precious and fragile. Don’t waste a minute of it.

"Leading with love is one of the bravest things you will ever do, and it is the only way forward if we are to move from a place of fear to one of love."
My good friend and fellow author Dimitar (Dimi) Cholakov () is interviewing me about my chapter in the book I shared with you all recently, details below.
Come tomorrow at noon and listen to how the heart of the project Sarah Bellorini (sarah.bellorini) and Dimi interview me on leadership and, more specifically, how to lead with love.

I am excited to announce my contribution to the newly released e-book, Visionary Male Leaders.
At the moment of this post, it is ranking at #4 on Amazon under "Best Sellers in HR & Personnel Management" and #14 in "Best Sellers in Business Management & Leadership". The response so far has been phenomenal.
The title explores the traditional form of fear-based leadership, and offers alternative perspectives and approaches towards heart-based leadership that's more emotionally aligned.
A small excerpt from my chapter, Leading with Love:
"Nowadays we seem to be caught between ideologies. We know that much of the world is run on the kind of fear-based leadership I mentioned earlier, however, we’re also in the process of uncovering a new approach to the way we live together, one in which mutual understanding, the desire for everyone to win, compassion and acceptance have become the blueprint for the way forward – what I call Leading with Love.
And before anyone tells you anything to the contrary, Leading with Love is anything but soft and fluffy. In fact, it is one of the hardest things you will ever do. It requires the courage to make the following non-negotiables in your life..."

I recently sat down with my friend, the inspiring, world famous Royal Family photographer to discuss what lessons we had both learnt from this challenging last year and indeed our lives to date. Some of the core lessons we share include moving towards your fears, taking small steps every day and being unapologetically you….and lot’s more as you will find out when you tune in!
When I first met Matt, I immediately felt he had such great energy, a clear sense of direction and a strong view of what matters most in life. It was Matt who pushed me to face some of my fears (and get on social media and start speaking my truth) and it turns out I also did the same for him. The funny thing is that, at the time, neither of us realised we had done this for the other until we had this chat, filmed just a few weeks ago!⠀
Anyhow, we hope you get a lot from this chat and please do share in the comments below your top takeaways so we can get a conversation going.

What are you searching for right now in life?
This last year we have all been forced to spend more time with ourselves, our own thoughts and perhaps started to ask more searching questions, daring to go deeper.
So, here are some searching questions I have been reflecting on of late:
🔹 Why do I feel this constant drive to have to do or be more? How is that working for me?
🔹 What assumptions was I making about what it takes to live a good life that are no longer valid?
🔹 What does my ideal life look like now? What's changed for me?
🔹 What would be different if I knew I only had 10 years to live?
🔹 What dreams am I putting off because of fear and an underlying bu****it story?
What questions have you been asking yourself? Please share below and let's get a conversation going...

From an early age, we are pre-programmed to put an incredibly high value on the need for certainty in our lives. ⠀
⠀
So much of the subliminal messaging which floods us every day is shot through with the idea that we have to tick certain boxes so we can eventually match someone else’s definition of a ‘successful life’: getting married, having the huge house (without a mortgage, of course!), a big pension pot, perfect children educated at the best schools, exotics holidays… We are constantly being sold a definition of success which is beyond question – it is, in fact, so ‘essential’ that it has become a certainty in our minds.⠀
⠀
How often do we stop to wonder if this is actually what we want and, more importantly, if this is how we define success? The answer, at least in my case, is probably not at all until a life-changing event forces you to do so. ⠀
⠀
For me nowadays, I define success as how I want to feel day to day because I now know (yes it took me a LONG time to learn this lesson) that when you feel good, everything else flows from that. Life is all about cause and effect; truly understanding that brings you happiness and fulfilment. Success is not being attached the the outcome (that box you think you need to tick) but really enjoying the process and watching what flows from that, without expectation of how you think it should be. ⠀
