There is no secret formula.

Just hard work, commitment and consistency over time.

Due to what seems like injury after injury I haven’t been able to train much at all during the last couple of months.

But I didn’t let it get to me and stop all my progress. I just decided to focus on a different goal, a goal that would be realistic with my current injuries.

Although I wanted to be in a building phase right now it was just impossible with the amount of restrictions I currently have.

So I decided to focus on fat loss for the time being as it was more achievable than growing atm. I’ve lost around 3kgs and I’m feeling really good in my skin and pleased I didn’t just give up all together.

Set yourself realistic goals, goals you can make small wins on, to motivate you to eventually achieve the bigger picture.

Most people fail because they set their standards too high for themselves to begin with and when they fail due to their own to socially high standards they say that was too hard and just give up.

Start small get those little wins in and watch the snowball into big wins with consistency over time.

That .co.uk changing room lighting hitting just right though👌

BUT I DON’T want to look like a bodybuilder… 💪😩

I hear this often, ‘I want to work with you, I love your passion & mindset but I don’t want to look like a bodybuilder’

Well my love, unless you want to put in hours worth of cardio a day, train 3/4 hours 6 days a week & weigh out every morsel that passes your lips, I can promise, you won’t look like a bodybuilder. That s**t takes a heroic amount of dedication & consistency over months.

Listen Linda, even with daily cardio & 3 PT sessions your never going to look like I do on stage.

BUT, you can attain a similar look to this 👉 year round with the right nutritional & training guidance - without going balls to the ball bodybuilder mode!

This was taken in Cartagena in June 2021. I’d been travelling for a year & hadn’t trained properly since February 2020. I’d go to go to a gym when we were near one but, it turns out, most of the South American coasts and jungles aren’t that bothered about gyms. Hikes through scorching heat & rainforests is quite enough! 😂

So I did what I could to control the variables. I ensured my nutrition was spot on 80% of the time, which was pretty easy as a meal of a bowl of soup then meat/fish with lentils, rice, veg/salad and patacones was available pretty much everywhere. Don’t get me wrong I still drank alcohol and enjoyed local takeaways at least 2 to 3 times a week, but I was aware of my calorie intake & energy expenditure.

On days I knew we would be partying & probably having a takeaway I would ensure I had gotten my steps in for the day, perhaps did a mini HIIT circuit or just put on some music and danced in the sun.

Do I feel like I lost size when I was away, Yes. BUT. Was I comfortable with my body and physique at that time? HELL YES!

You can be too! Stop the fad diets, the crazy cardio regimes, come & learn how to live your life to the full whilst being happy with your physique Learn about training & nutrition so that you never have to do another fad diet again, this will be the last nutrition/training plan that you will ever have to spend money on. . You will gain all of the tools to do this for yourself & continue to do it… continued 👇

Check out my favourite new CAMO set from 😍

Discount code: Laurenifbbpro for 15% off 🙌

Training has been tough the last few weeks as I’m trying to rehab a chronic shoulder injury… but I’m feeling better this week and plan to go full steam ahead! 💪

Started my Monday off right with meditation, music (today was BUSTED - Legendary) and cardio, a morning routine to me is so important these days. On the days I don’t meditate or do my cardio I can definitely feel a slump in both my mood and energy. I don’t always feel like doing it when I start but I’m always so happy that I’ve done it 😁

It’s taken me so long to get into a routine since I’ve been back home but I’m determined to regain the structure I desperately need in order to accomplish everything I have planned! 💥

I hope you are smashing your Monday! 🤗

CAN YOU TRAVEL DURING COVID? YES YOU CAN!

Covid wasn't the reason we got stuck in Bogota for 6 weeks, although we did experience their version of a lockdown, everything else was! Firstly, we lost the washing, literally all of Aaron's clothes, then Aaron dislocated his knee and was in bed for a month and finally when we eventually tried to leave we were unable to due to the Paro Nacional (National Strikes)

The Paro Nacional, a series of strikes and protests began on April the 28th, sparked by the announcement of the tax reform project proposed by the government, amongst other things and is still at the time of writing (15th July) ongoing. For more information on the Paro Nacional visit: https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protestas_en_Colombia_de_2021

Due to roadblocks caused. by lorry drivers, it was impossible to travel outside of Bogota by land. This lasted a few days and in the end, we had to miss out on visiting Villa de Leyva and Barichara and instead we flew directly to Santa Marta.

It was a real experience being in Bogata during the protests, they literally never stopped. In the daytime they were fascinating, it was like a real carnival atmosphere, people were singing and dancing and playing instruments. However, at night it was a different story and we didn't go out after dark as we were reading about the fatalities in the local media each morning,

I finally got back to the gym after 6 months of not training and absolutely loved every minute of it! I found an Anytime Fitness and settled there for a month which was epic - thanks to Josh and all the team for being so welcoming! My mojo came back in this time, for sure, I felt awesome! I am so much better when I have a structured routine and all of this led to me focusing on my PT and Online Coaching business which I'm proud to say I've finally kickstarted so get in contact if you are interested in working with me!

Last check in on home soil before I turned pro in 2018 ✨

I loved this look and I was really proud of what I achieved in my second ever show.

More size and condition needed for the pro stage and the journey to the Olympia…

Which I will NAIL the next time I step on stage.

Mark my words 🙌

Las Coloradas, Mexico 🇲🇽

Free as a bird, quite literally with my knicks on show. Utter bliss 🦅💕

I miss travelling. So very much. The freedom, especially.

If your ever in Mexico I highly recommend the drive out here but maybe not from Valladolid on the back of a motorbike like I did for hours on end - the roads aren’t great! I can confirm it was not a comfortable ride there and back but the motorbike was a lot cheaper than the car hire! 🤦‍♀️😅
