Congratulations on a first hole in one for Simon today on the 17th at Les Mielles after a superb tee shot.

The first round of the mens matchplay has been completed in full! 8 brilliant matches done and 4 tasty quarter finals due to be played next month.

Much of the society out today in the sunshine. Simon winning the front 9, Dermot won the back 9 and Mike with the overall for 2 weeks in a row!
This puts Mike in the lead of this seasons Order of Merit after 2 rounds completed.

This Sunday saw excellent conditions for golf. Our lads gave our first go to a twosomes scramble.
A great day's golf led to the only three ball, Dermot, Rich and Charlie coming out on top with a Net 66 (-4).
Special shout out to Simon for a tap in Eagle on the 16th after a superb drive, with a near Hole in One on the par 4 🙌
Splended company and golf all round.

Fantastic weather this weekend as our lads got out for 18 round Les Mielles.
Joe was the winner of the front 9 with 19 points. Mike the winner on the back 9 after countback on 22. Dermot wins the overall with 39, and the birdie hole (15th). The new season starts next week with the Monthly Medal which everyone is excited for!

This week saw our gents battle force 6 wind and heavy rain at points, the great company was uneffected.
Graeme won the overall stableford Competition with a great score of 33 points, which included a back 9 victory of 18 points. Lee put in the best showing on the front 9 with a superb 17 points.
Hopefully the weather is better next week!

The League of Gentlement Golf Society was founded on Friday 28 January 2022.
A golf society for a great group of lads who play weekly competitively and for fun. During 2022 we have a number of Competitions and different formats which will be advertised on this page.
