Well what a difficult day today! We had to contact everyone and cancel all the training booked in for the next two months. I would like to thank everyone who responded so positively and appreciated the drastic action we have taken.

After receiving the latest news that 10 persons have tested positive for the virus and the two most recent cases have been contracted within the island, TPT will suspend all training courses as from Monday 23rd March 2020.
It is clear we have entered a more alarming phase and a higher potential to spread the virus.
In line with the Governments strategy to flatten the curve to reduce potential infections to enable our medical services to cope we cannot ensure social distancing in a training environment hence the decision to suspend training services.
TPT will continue to offer online training, consultancy, production of risk assessments and telephone support. More info is on www. safety.je

Difficult excavator training last week due to the wet conditions. Sympathy to all construction workers over the last 3 months who have been wallowing in the mud. The TPT practical assessment course was challenging to say the least.....

Pretty harsh weather conditions today. Been soaked 3 times this week! Note to self - must buy some better waterproofs.
And everyone thinks this job is easy....... Hopefully drier tomorrow...... don’t think so 😢

Most of this week has been on telehandler. A real treat to be using a brand new Manitou from Material Handling Solutions. A fantastic little machine. Well done to the lads at La Collette who all passed their assessments.

Another successful week at TPT!!!
NPTC pesticide application assessments went well with 100% pass rates. Forklift trainees all passed this week and we also carried out road roller training and assessments. Well done to everyone for their focus and concentration.
