Everyone’s welcome back to the Shala.
If you’re thinking of returning after a longer break, don’t overthink it — just show up. We’d love to have you back on the mat, practising alongside us.

Are you new to yoga and wondering where to begin?
Or perhaps you’re looking to deepen your practice in a more personal, self-paced way?
Our Mysore-style Ashtanga Yoga classes are taught Monday to Friday in the traditional way practised in Mysore, India. Rather than following the class together, each student moves through the sequence at their own pace, receiving individual guidance and support from the teacher.
Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the very first time or looking to develop an established practice, you’ll find a warm, welcoming community ready to support your journey.
Come and discover why Mysore is one of the most effective and accessible ways to learn yoga.

To all my teachers, past and present, with deepest gratitude. 🌺
Thank you for reminding me that the greatest teachings are found not only in words, but in the way we live, practise and serve.
Happy Guru Purnima! 🌸🙏🌸

We did a 10-minute So Ham meditation together this evening.
Ola: “Mummy, this was so beautiful.”
Maja: “Can I go and read my book now?”
Two children, the same experience, yet completely different responses. One was moved by stillness; the other simply felt ready to carry on.
Meditation isn’t about producing a particular feeling or response. It simply offers a space to be exactly as we are. Some of us notice peace, some notice restlessness, some feel nothing at all. Every experience is valid.
So Ham means “I am That”—a reminder that beneath our different personalities, preferences and reactions, we share the same essence. We are each wonderfully unique in how we express ourselves, yet deeply connected at a level beyond our thoughts and emotions.
I am this. I am that. We are one.
