Your body releases its biggest surge of growth hormone during REM sleep, therefore it is important to have 8 hours sleep for maximum muscle growth. Otherwise your work during the day goes to waste.

Lots of fitness trackers now have sleep tracking functions which can help manage your sleeping pattern, for example Apple Watch. There are many other apps and devices too, so do check them out! Sleep is vital to your wellbeing 😁

Start February in good health! Once again we will be hosting a unique class where you can Get Fit, Lose Fat, and Make Friends! 💪

It starts at 10.30am on Saturday 2nd Feb. Please arrive 10 minutes early for briefing 🕒

Why is it unique? This class combines the concept of spinning with Fartlek training. We have weights, rowers, bikes, treadmills, cross-trainers, a boxing bag and a stepper, all within a private studio at Oakfield Fitness Centre, and all of which you will use during the 45-minute class.

You go at your own pace, as long as you're moving 🏃🏻 you'll burn tons of calories, and the after-burn effect is unreal with this cardio-based class.

If you have any heart issues then it is compulsory to bring with you a doctors note with you or you will not be able to attend.
