Hi all just putting the feelers out there as we looking at organising snooker, pool and darts leagues/tournaments in the JMI over the summer starting from around the end of may. Therefore we would appreciate if you could share this post and confirm what you would be interested in participating in so we get an idea for numbers, once known formats will be confirmed. For all of these comps generous prize money will be put up so what are you waiting for......get involved👍🏆🎱🍺🍻

JMI CHANNEL ISLAND POOL COMPETITION!!!!

Hi all the Jersey Mechanics are looking at holding an annual JMI Channel Island Open Pool Comp. The prize fund would be a minimum of 2k. Before this can go ahead can you confirm if you would be interested in playing in this, any questions please just respond to this post. Many thanks

JMI Carling pool league starting this Wednesday 21st January. League of 32 players with a total prize fund of around £2k kindly being sponsored by carling. Round robin league with each match consisting of 8 frames with a point awarded for each frame one. Once all games have been played a knockout finals night will be held where the top 8 play off, players placed 9-16 play off and so on. Prize money iS being split across the whole of the league which means half the players will walk away with cash by winning one knockout game. We currently have three spaces available if anyone is interested in playing. Entry fee is £20. Any questions please just respond to this message.

Hi all Handicapped Pool competition this Saturday 24th May start time 3pm. £5 entry fee with £100 being added to the prize fund by the Jersey Mechanics. Please spread the word

The JMI Social Club has only been open 7 weeks but it is quickly starting to be the place to be for having a game of pool or a few drinks.

On top of the four pool tables we are pleased to say the long anticipated wait for the Nine ball table has finally arrived and will be up and running by the end of today!!! Price to play is only 50p for 10 mins.

We are setting up pool and nine ball leagues / knock out tournaments over the coming weeks so if anyone is interested in playing please contact us on this page. All of these are being sponsored by Carling so generous prize money will be on offer.

Please spread the word with all your friends and pop into to see what all the fuss is about! :)

We are pleased to announce that the new nine ball table is being delivered on monday next week. The price ti use this will be the same as the other 4 pool tables whic is 50p for 10 minutes (£3 hour)

We would also like to announce that we will have three new snooker tables installed by wednesday next week in the jmi snooker club upstairs.

Over the coming months we will be looking at enhancing the facilities in the club. Therefore any suggestions you have that might help us achieve this please just let us know.

Hi all we have just set this page up in the last couple of days so that we can keep you all informed of any future events that are coming up. We would also appreciate it if you could share this page with your friends and encourage them to join the club (£5 a year is all it is!) which gives them access to 4 top quality pool tables, 1 nine ball table, dart board and of course the cheap drinks at the bar!

We will also be holding many pool and snooker tournaments/leagues over the coming months as we have secured sponsorship from Carling so would welcome any suggestions on formats etc on what you would like to be involved in.
