As the 2 Ronnies would say, “that’s goodnight from me and that’s goodnight from him” (yes there’s always time for another questionable pun).
Today saw the conclusion of a great week at the Sun Bowls Club for finals of the Bowls Europe mixed pairs championships, sponsored by Titan Wealth CI, and congratulations to all the medalists and competitors. You’ve all treated our crowds to some outstanding performances and plenty moments of excitement.
A huge shoutout to everyone who has helped out this week, an event like this wouldn’t be possible without you!
We wish all the players, officials, and supporters a safe trip home and hope you’ve all had a great time in our little slice of paradise ☀️☀️☀️

Great coverage from BBC Radio Jersey today, several members interviewed but here’s a pic Club Captain Kevin Andrieux being interviewed by Richard.
Chicken Curry, Chips, Burgers, Chips, Sandwiches, Chips, Cheesy Chips, Bacon Rolls, Chips, Sausages Rolls, Chips and Cakes were likely discussed at length!
The end of a brilliant week at the Sun ends tomorrow with the Semi Final (9am) and the Final (12pm) - please do come down and support and show the club in a great light for the final day!

Well, now the dust has settled on the 5th Annual Pitcher & Le Quesne Ltd Funeral Directors Open at the Sun Bowls Club, we can share what happened!
An excellent weekend with 24 teams competing for the prizes on display, blessed with glorious weather, large crowds and a bbq for the masses in between!
Best Dressed: Dia De Muertes (Rob Clive, Ian & Sandra Black)
Joint 3rd Place: 2 Bro’s & Their Ho (Kevin Le Long, Rachel Macdonald and Megan Kivlin) along with the Not So Great Gatsby (Alan Shaw, Babs Kittleson and Lorraine Plante)
2nd Place: 101 Dalmatian’s (Cathy Le Sueur, James Lawson and Greg Davis)
Winners: The Bumblebees! (Brian & Ann Bisson and Rab)

PITCHER & LE QUESNE OPEN! THIS WEEKEND!
We are delighted to announce we are sold out on all fronts for the hugely popular Pitcher & Le Quesne Ltd Funeral Directors Bowls Open at the Sun Bowls this weekend! 24 teams (+4 on 2024), 72 bowlers and a lot of fun to ensue.
Kitchen open for breakfast and lunch both days, bar from lunchtime...
Please see playing rota with team names only! If you don't know your team name, ask your skip. If you don't know your team name and your surname is Lawson or Bell, don't bother asking your skip!
