Another wonderful afternoon showing visitors the pretty SW coastline.

This German couple enjoyed their paddle from St Brelades beach along towards Corbiere. Getting as far as La Rosier quarry before turning around. We also manage to find a couple of deep water gullies on our way back.

A family group of locals and visitors enjoying a sit on top paddle from Ouaisne round to Portelet and back. Windy patches meant they had to work hard in places and earn their Sunday lunch.

A great afternoon out in the sea kayaks with these two visitors from Germany.

Their first time to the islands after recommendations from friends and they are loving the place.

Saturday morning sit on top kayak tour, before the wind really picked up.

A big group comprising a French family, locals and visitors from Scotland. All enjoyed a energetic paddle from Ouaisne, round to Portlete and up to Noirmont in windy conditions. They all done really well and worked up a good appetite for lunch.

Congratulations to Kenny and James on successfully passing their Paddlesport Leader Award earlier this month.

Both paddlers demonstrated the judgement, leadership, personal skills and willingness to learn that are at the heart of good paddlesport leadership. Throughout their training, they embraced the realities of paddling in sheltered water environments, developing the confidence and decision-making needed to support others on the water.

One of the most rewarding aspects of coaching is seeing paddlers grow through practical, real-world experiences and then step forward to take on leadership roles themselves. Kenny and James approached the process with enthusiasm, commitment and a genuine desire to improve, making full use of Jersey's varied coastline and conditions as their classroom.

Passing the award is an important milestone, but more importantly it reflects the development of capable, thoughtful paddlers who can help create safe, supportive and enjoyable experiences for others.

Well done both. Looking forward to seeing where your paddling journeys take you next.
