IT MAY NOT BE WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR BUT…

Fitness advice for women was built around weight loss and male centric fitness advice.

Women over 40 get told..

• “Don’t get bulky

• “Stick to light weights”

• “Cardio for fat loss

This is the worst advice possible!!
…..
Cardio + low protein + low weights = muscle wasting.

This drives ➡️

• Slower metabolism

• More belly fat

• Weaker bones

• Higher mortality

You’re not “toning.” You’re shrinking..
…..
You need MORE STIMULUS not less.
……
Your action plan? ✅

• Lift heavy 3 to 4 x per week (with me 😉)

• Progressive overload (add weight)

• 1.6 to 2.2g protein per kg bodyweight

• Creatine 5g per day

• Sleep 7 to 8 hours

• Discuss HRT with your doctor

• Walk 8 to 10,000 steps daily

• One day of 20-minute interval training maximum
