As we gear up for the 108th Muratti final, we’re looking back at a two Jersey icons linked to one certain sports shop (guess who? 🤔)

It started with Graeme Le Maistre, the Muratti’s ultimate marksman. With an incredible 24 goals in 21 games, Graeme didn't just play the final; he owned it. Off the pitch, he founded the iconic sports shop that still bears his name.

The torch was passed in the late '60s to his close friend and fellow great, Geoff Arthurs. Geoff was a powerhouse in Jersey sport—not only a top-tier goalkeeper (making his debut in the 6-3 victory of the 1948 final plus six more caps) but was also a representative for Jersey Rugby, La Moye golf, and a founder of Leonis Amateur Boxing.

Today, that friendship lives on. The shop Graeme started and Geoff preserved is still in the Arthurs family, run by Stephen and Charmaine.

We’re proud to carry a bit of that Muratti magic into Saturday’s final.
