It’s only a prototype….but 32’s could be coming!

Scott has created prototype 32” wheeled gravel bikes for Unbound gravel!

Defending champ Cameron Jones will race Unbound 200 on a big wheeled Scott RC gravel bike alongside Tour Divide winner Robin Gemperle.

There’s a lot of 32” chat right now, but Scott says these bikes “will never be released on the market”.

Some great news for cyclist and pedestrians 🙌🏻🚲❤️

Fantastic news, from 1 April the subway whose entrance is close to the Les Jardins Car Park is now open for two-way access to cycles, bicycles, tricycles and scooters 🚲 🛴

For those heading into town along the shared use path, you may now pull right into the ”car park exit” and carefully proceed down the subway and emerge on the other side near the former Esplanade Car Park, before safely continuing your journey across Trenton Square. Be mindful of the potential for motorised vehicles coming the other way.

Those on cycles are asked to avoid cycling across the green astro turf at Trenton Square, instead safely cycling around the edge, with pedestrians having right of way.

This same route can be used by those wishing to safely navigate their way back to the westbound shared use path along the south coast of St Aubin’s Bay.

Thank you to everyone involved in opening up safe, cycle commuter connectivity, especially for children cycling to and from school. Also, allowing those more vulnerable road users safer passage from the Waterfront to Town.

As Jersey tackles its obsession with the motor vehicle and seeks to tackle the absurdly high levels of toxic pollution from vehicles, we need more forward, progressive thinking and schemes like this.
