The reigning senior fours champions of Andrieux, Andrieux, Jordan and Larkin took the early lead against the St Saviours four. The four of Lund, Livingston, Pitman and Brown clawed back to 3 behind. The Sun Men converted two ends to keep them in front to be crowned champions.

The Four of Greechan, Greechan, Kivlin and Le Long took the early lead against the JBC four of MacDonald, Nixon, Le Falher and Thomas. The JBC four battled hard to be 4 behind but the St Saviours four maintained their lead to be crowned the champions.

The team of Rive, Hogetts and Boswell looked to retain their title and started the game well. The Sun triple battled hard but the JBC triple powered ahead to take the title and remain champions.

Kivlin makes Jersey History to be the First Woman to win all four national titles in one season. Retaining both the triples and fours titles in the process.

Congratulations to all the finalists, great games and bowls were played this weekend.

A massive thank you to the Sun Bowls Club for the hospitality and the green. The markers, board turners and spectators.

Last years Men’s Pairs finalists returned, with the team of Davis and De Sousa seeking revenge. The game was tip and tuck from end 1. Bowl for bowl the Sun boys took the lead by a few shots. Rive and Le Long battled hard to hold a 4 shot lead, Davis took JBC’s bowl out to leave them 1 behind with 4 ends to go. Rive and Le Long managed to hold their lead to defend their pairs title.

Le Falher took the early lead with Douglas making a good come back to be 15-18 down. Le Falher maintained the lead and was crowned the champion

Kivlin took an early lead against Cummins in the ladies Singles. Cummins fought back but Kivlin’s cushioned lead remained. Cummins held 1 and Kivlin sliced the bowl out of the head to be crowned the National Ladies Singles Champion.

JBC battled against one another for the Jean Holmes mixed pairs. The MacDonald duo took the early lead against Nixon and Kaleta. Despite the good battle between both teams MacDonald and MacDonald claimed the title.

Session 3 and 4 ended Saturdays games in style.

A tough battle of JBC and St Saviours end for end saw Simon take the lead and then crowned champion.

The triple of Greechan, Greechan and Kivlin took an early lead against Archibald, Douglas and Thomas. 3 ends saw Greechan convert JBC’s potential lead to reduce them to crowning Saviours as Champions

Kaleta and Greechan battled end for end until 13-10 with Kaleta taking the lead. Greechan game down turned Kaletas bowl to hold 1, with Kaleta moving the jack to the rink marker and winning the game after the measure.

Kivlin and Le Long took the early lead against Nixon and Le Falher. With the game 11-9 to JBC, 1 end got St Saviours in front. 2 down with the last end to come JBC held the extra end. Kivlin managed to convert the head to 1 and St Saviours were crowned Champions.

Great support from all clubs and thank you to the Sun Bowls Club for keeping the players and spectators fed and watered.
