Simply Ballroom, Jersey is back for the rest of the summer, teaching Sequence dances, including two new Winning sequence dances from the IDTA World Dance Convention, held at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool, July 2026! Classes will be held at our Sion Studio, Starting at 7pm, Thursday, 23rd July. Limited to 10 couples, or equivalent, as single places will be available. Advanced booking essential. Simply Ballroom, Jersey are delighted to share with you the news that Tina, principal of our dance school, has qualified as an Associate of the IDTA International Dance Teachers Association, acheiving Distinctions in all four of the Ballroom Modules. Well done, Tina. All that hard work and determination has really paid dividends. I think we're going to need a bigger notice board.

To top off a wonderful trip to Blackpool, we just had the news that Tony Eggleston has successfully passed his Licentiate Latin exams with Distinction.

He is now qualified to prepare and present dancers for professional examinations... but first, he is celebrating at the airport with a pint! 🍻

The boys of Simply Ballroom are having a great time at the DM Dance Centre (Diment Macdonald) workshop in Bournemouth this weekend - last night's theme was loud shirts! 🧡🦩🩵🍹💜

We had a fairly quiet dance on Saturday 30th, due to a combination of the heat and the Champion's League Final. Despite this, we still managed to have a great time, dancing to the live music of Philip Le Claire. Our regular charity raffle raised a total of £121.00 for Clic Sargent, Jersey - the children's cancer support group. Big thanks to everyone who supported us on the night.

We look forward to seeing you all for our second dance of the year. Last time it was freezing, This time it is roasting! We will be bringing the fans, and also hoping that it will be cool enough without them. We are once again supporting Clic Sargent Jersey in our Interval raffle this time, for helping young Rogan, who should have his last maintenance visit, and hopefully the all clear, during June. Good luck Rogan and mummy Holly. Saturday night will have live music before the interval and fun prize dances in both sessions! We'd love to see you all there! Stay cool and bring raffle prizes... 😀💃🕺
