Photos from our recent dive to the wreck of a Douglas C-47 Skytrain, shot down by the occupying Germans in October 1944, 4 months after D Day is an interesting part of Jersey's wartime history. Flown by Lieutenant Robert R Blackler who was the only survivor of a 12 man crew, navigational errors led to the aircraft being downed by German flak.
