Bouley Bay Divecentre

Photos from our recent dive to the wreck of the Schokland. On 4 January, 1943, the Schokland, a Dutch steamship requisitioned by the German army struck the rocks of Les Grunes Vaudin to the south of Jersey and at around 1.30am sank stern first. 110 people perished. She rests upright at a depth of around 30 meters, depending on tidal conditions. Some fascinating features remain, including the boiler, masts and mooring bollards.
