See, another player off to Europe! This just goes to show that football is now becoming a marketable sport in Jamaica. Our players are being scouted by various European coaches. It is either they have been bought or loaned out by our local clubs. This provides an opportunity for these footballers to enhance their life's and to make Jamaica proud.
With the objective of Elite Sports Jamaica, we can assure the public that we will soon be able to create these opportunities for our young players.

We here at 'Elite Sports Jamaica' have recognized that there is a need for formal training in youth development. In order for us to produce world class athletes, we have to first teach them the fundamental skills of the sport. The initial stages of an athlete's development is normally overlooked, they tend to start getting formal training from around age 13. However, it is wise to start grooming them from around age 7, as this would help to mould them into executing the correct technique and having the right attitude towards the game.
We have made it our responsibility to ensure that these athletes develop properly, so that they can be marketable to the world. Here, they will not only develop sports skills, but they will also be able to demonstrate good social skills and promote civic pride.

Placing emphasis on youth development can make a huge impact on our sports industry. Think of sports has a business, a career and a way of life. It is quiet obvious that there are many talented youths out there, but because of lack of opportunity, these young and aspiring talents are stunted.
Providing a suitable place for these kids, is our responsibility and we have to ensure that when they come to us they are moulded in the right way. We want to enable our program to benefit this wonderful nation and for each individual athlete to go abroad and make a difference.
