7 Days to go! We’re on our way to Choose Life Africa Missions Trip. What do you do when God says: “Go!”, and you get the Scripture: “The LORD said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you”(Genesis 12:1 NIV). Then you go to a church you didn’t expect to be at, and a lady shares from Hebrews 11:8 - “By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.” Huh!!! Mouth open!!
Up to two weeks ago we still did not know exactly where we were going! A lot has fallen into place over the last week. SMH. God is not easy. However, too many random things are coming together for us to know we’re smack in the center of God’s will. For example, one of the ushers at our church gave us a ride when we were planning to take an uber. Turns out that he’s from Ghana! The day before we had a table at a church Block Party and one of the ladies who came to the table is from Ghana. Then there was the day that a pastor invited us to a restaurant for a special breakfast and the guest was from Kenya. He had no idea we were planning to go to Kenya! Another day we called a pastor friend to say hello. Turns out that he was hosting a pastor from one of the areas in Kenya that we are going to: Mombasa and he will be in Kenya during that time!!! I could go on… Yes. You get the picture. God is up to something!!! Well we need lots of prayer and we need practical support, so that’s just it! Please help us to help people live: physically, emotionally and spiritually. More to come. We leave on October 12.
