JMMC The JMMC is Jamaica's National Automobile Club for Motor Sport & Mobility, a FIA affiliate.

The Jamaica Millennium Motoring Club (JMMC) is the regulatory body governing motor sport in Jamaica as appointed by the FIA. The JMMC provides sanctioning for multiple genres of motor sport, namely: Sprints, Drag Racing, Esports, Circuit Racing, Rallies, Karting, Dexterity Tests and Drifting. The JMMC also issues competition licenses and adjudicates all issues, disciplinary or otherwise, relating to motor sport locally.

As President of the Jamaica Millennium Motoring Club (JMMC), I extend my sincere appreciation to the Honourable Andrew Holness, Prime Minister of Jamaica, for taking the time to meet with us and acknowledge the efforts behind Rallying 4 Recovery.

It was an honour to accompany Filippo Marchino (Driver) and Alex Kihurani (Co-driver) as they presented a model of the Jamaica-liveried rally car and one of the Sparco race suits worn during the campaign.

Competing in two rounds of the 2026 FIA World Rally Championship, this initiative was about far more than motorsport. It was about using the global platform of rallying to tell Jamaica’s story, highlight the devastating impact of Hurricane Melissa, support relief efforts, and bring hope and solidarity to our people.

The message on the car — “The World Stands With Jamaica. The World Cares.” — carried that message around the world.

On behalf of the JMMC, a very special and heartfelt thank you to Filippo Marchino, who solely conceived, initiated and personally funded this endeavour on behalf of the Jamaican people. His generosity and commitment to Jamaica are truly commendable.

Motorsport gave us the platform. Jamaica gave us the purpose. And the world helped us deliver the message. 🇯🇲❤️

For FIA Volunteers & Officials Month, we want to give a special shout-out to all our dedicated JMMC officials, stewards, and scrutineers. Your critical judgment, technical expertise, and unwavering commitment to rules and safety keep our events running smoothly and fairly.
A massive, heartfelt thank you also goes to the entire Marshalling Club of Jamaica Marshalling Club of Jamaica and all its members. Your tireless volunteering is truly inspiring! From maintaining track safety to being the first on the scene, you are the backbone that makes every race possible.
Thank you all for your selflessness, passion, and endless hours spent trackside to ensure motorsport happens safely for everyone to enjoy. We appreciate you more than words can say! 🏎️💨

Congratulations to Alex Powell on an outstanding P3 podium finish in FIA Formula 3 in Madrid! 🏁👏

Alex has made history as the first Jamaican driver to compete at the FIA Formula 3 level, and now the first to stand on an F3 podium.

A remarkable achievement for Alex, his family, his team, and Jamaican motorsport. 🇯🇲

This is only the beginning for this incredibly talented young driver. The future is bright, and we can’t wait to see what comes next!

It is with profound sadness that I acknowledge the passing of Kent LaCroix, former President of the Jamaica Millennium Motoring Club and a respected competitor and longstanding contributor to Jamaican motorsport.

Kent made a significant contribution to the development of our Club and to the sport he so passionately supported. His commitment, experience, and competitive spirit earned him the respect of his fellow competitors and members of the motorsport community.

On a personal note, Kent played an important role during my early years of competition. He was generous with his knowledge, readily offered advice, and was always willing to lend a helping hand. His encouragement and guidance were greatly appreciated and remain a meaningful part of my own journey in motorsport.

On behalf of the Jamaica Millennium Motoring Club, and personally, I extend sincere condolences to Kent’s family, friends, colleagues, and all those who knew and respected him.

Kent’s contribution to Jamaican motorsport and to the JMMC will be remembered with great respect and appreciation.

May he rest in peace.

Brian’s love for motorsport and his competitive spirit made him a valued part of the racing community. His presence at the track will be deeply missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones during this difficult time. 🕊️🏁

Alex has continued to make Jamaica proud, establishing himself as one of our country’s most promising young driving talents on the international stage. From winning the Italian F4 Rookie Championship with PREMA in 2024, to competing successfully in Europe and now earning his place in F3, his progression is a testament to his talent, determination and commitment to motorsport.
