Mrs. Sabrina Cross-Warner, General Counsel at the Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority, is participating in the Fourth Civil Aviation Legal Advisers Forum (CALAF/4) in Nassau, Bahamas.

Please be advised that due to planned SpaceX Starship Flight 12 operations today, temporary airspace measures may be implemented within portions of the Kingston Flight Information Region, in keeping with established aviation safety protocols.
Passengers, airline operators, aviation stakeholders and members of the public are encouraged to read the attached Press Release for further details, including possible operational impacts and guidance.

✈️ A busy season for aviation outreach!
The JCAA has been actively engaging students through a full schedule of school visits, creating meaningful opportunities for young people to connect with the world of aviation 🛫 and see what’s possible for their future.
Over the coming days, we’ll be sharing highlights from these engagements, beginning with a visit from members of the Aviation Club at Immaculate Conception High School to the Kingston Air Traffic Control Centre.
From exploring the role of air traffic controllers to gaining a deeper understanding of how aviation operations come together, the experience sparked curiosity and real interest among the students. Their enthusiasm and thoughtful questions made it clear that these engagements are not just informative, but impactful.
