The next staging of the Guardsman Games will be held on March 21, 2021!
Our dedicated patrons, Guardsman Group will unfortunately not be able to stage the 2020 Guardsman Games. After careful consideration, we decided to firstly adjust the date for the games to more suitable climatic conditions (it was realized that the summer months were a little too hot and taxing for this type of event) and also accommodate the qualifying racers to obtain travel documents to attend the OCR World Championships abroad.
As such we settled on aiming for the month of March, and due to the current COVID-19 pandemic we have decided we will be postponing the Games until 2021.
We are happy to announce that the organising committee of the OCRWC value the participation of the Jamaican contingent so much that they offered to recognise the 2019 qualifiers for their 2020 event. However, we await to here news of the 2020 OCRWC staging amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
