Fixing Landslide affected roads is bigger than just the shoveling of debris off the road, into the gully, and/or installing drains.

So if this is your thinking, and/or approach, change it.

✅ As our environment changes (Hurricane Intensity, Rainfall Intensity, Removal of Trees for Construction increase...) , the frequency and extent of damage to our roads and other critical infrastructure, that we will have to contend with, will increase as well.

One way of combatting this comprehensively, is putting into good effect the professional insight and scope of Geology & Geologists.

(engineering geology/Geotechnical engineering).

✅ Have alternative routes of entry and exit (without vehicle), established. The main road is highly susceptible to blocks by debris.

💥To the relevant GOJ agencies, the main road is in need of meshing of rock slope faces at the least.

Personal Record 5K at 220lbs 🎉 An 18 Mth Journey

It was a great run, and feeling.

I remember the earlier run(s), where I was struggling to run 3K as I used to. That was when I decided to commit to running at least one 5K weekly (after training members of OB Fitness).

✅ Fast-forward to June 10, 2026:
Mission Accomplished.

Mineral Spring | Copper & Iron... | Content Gap 🇯🇲

This mineral spring was captured within meters of the Limestone we classified as Volcano-Cooked. immediately before we came upon the volcano-cooked limestone, there was volcanics encountered. And within meters of passing this spring, we came across what we consider as Black Marble.

With our Geology Map (non-digitized included for this section, you can see the effects of Tectonism, and contact between the volcanics and Limestone/Carbonate, as support for our statements.
