CYCLE CITY & FITNESS LTD along with CM RECYCLING want to say thanks to all the participants and supporters who came out on the 19th of June 2022 "Father's day" to participate in the bicycle road race"KEEP DE WHEELS TURNING" from both starting point Anotto Bay and Port Antonio to Ocho Rios.

The chasing pack hunting down two category one riders up front with a vengeance in the Popeye Cycle road race from Ocho Rios to Montego Bay.
It has been said that this was the fastest road race ever recorded to date as the first rider crossed the finish line in a time of 1 hour and 57 minutes.
I must commend the riders in the chasing group for their super charge effort to connect on Russell Small and Jerome Forrest (two cat one top riders)
Buju of one love cycling did okay but it appears in my personal view that he could have done much better. I suspected that he was probably blocking for his friend/training partner (Jersome Forrest) However Sir Shaquille Sinclair of intense cycling club would never settle for that and as such he stepped on his pedals without mercy. This guy was possessed, followed by his young teammates and veteran cyclist Cleveland "big engine " Sharpe also Alex Morgan of CCC.
The other cyclist did what they could do to help contribute but those mentioned was in a different zone.

Sheldon "aka" bamboo back Pellington, sadly, sadly missed by all of us in the cycling fraternity. You've gone but will never be forgotten. You were such a humble and respectful person. Always talking positively.
Words can't express the void you have left behind in the cycling fraternity. You've arrived and delivered some of the best road races that I have ever watched. You've truly made an impact on the sport of cycling in Jamaica.
My sincere condolences goes out to your family and friends. May your soul rest in peace my brother.

Condolences to the family of Mr. Aston Fletcher of Ocho Rios a long time supporter of Cycling in Jamaica. A historian of the town moor era.
Sir Fletch experienced when cycling was the biggest sport in Jamaica. He has witnessed over 4,000 track cycling races @ Town Moor/Racecourse race track.
The now-famous National Heroes Circle back in the 1930s to the early 1960s.
Mr. Fletch used to host his own cycling quiz segment during the Evon Hewitt air time on IRIE FM. One could call in and win a cash prize. However, all of his questions normally based on the sport of cycling.
Sir Fletch has lived a good life. He has run his race and won now he's off to hang with his long-time friends and colleagues, Such as Frankie Minott, Sydney and Harold Blissett, Stanko Rowe, Levi Fremantle, Sam Carter, Noel Phillis and a host of other town moors giants. R.I.P. Sir Fletch you gone but not forgotten.
His funeral service will be held on January 25th, 2020 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Ocho Rios, commencing @ 12:00 noon.
Condolences to the family of Mr. Aston Fletcher of Ocho Rios a long time supporter of Cycling and a good friend and supporter of my father Harold Blissett. He is gone but not forgotten.

1000 out of 1200 kids in this school in Oulu, Finland, arrive by bicycle, even in winter. 100-150 walk, rest by ski, kicksleds and car. This day it was -17°C.
