As we kick off June, this quote caught my attention:
"Far from being frivolous, fun is absolutely essential for a well-lived and joyful life. If you use fun as your compass, you will be happier and healthier. You will be more productive, less resentful, and less stressed."
As adults and leaders, we often treat fun as something we'll get to after the work is done. But what if we've got it backwards? What if fun isn't a reward for success, but one of the ingredients that helps create it?
When we're engaged, playful, connected, and fully present, we tend to show up with more energy, creativity, resilience, and optimism.
As we begin a new month, here's my question: What is one activity that brings you genuine fun, and are you intentionally making time for it?
Fun isn't the same as happiness — but it might be the fastest path to it, according to researchers and authors who study joy: Our Best Life
In this stage, we’re more likely to complain about our to-dos than plan things we want to do.

Transformation: a complete, powerful change.
What if this is the week everything shifts? The answered prayer, the opportunity, the breakthrough you’ve been waiting for. Are you ready for it?
I try not to live in “if”, and I lean into “when.” Expecting it, preparing for it, and stepping into it with faith and intention.
Keep visualizing. Keep showing up. Your moment can meet you any day. 🌻✨

I recently joined Denise Williams and Stacey Luces on the WE WHISTLE Podcast, and our conversation went deeper than I expected.
We started with leadership and innovation, but quickly moved into something more personal: pausing, questioning what we’re building, and being honest about whether it still aligns with who we’re becoming.
One big takeaway I shared: We often treat happiness like something we earn later. But how we feel, think, and show up directly shapes how we lead and perform.
This isn’t a “soft” conversation. It’s a strategic one. We talked about identity, psychological safety, and the small daily choices that influence not just our wellbeing… but our results.
I’m grateful to Denise and Stacey for creating a space where these conversations can happen honestly and with intention.
If you’re building, evolving, or navigating change… this episode will resonate.
You can watch or listen on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or YouTube.

I know there’s a lot going on, but there’s still so much good here too. I’m obsessed with the moon, and watching Artemis has brought me the deepest kind of moon joy these last few days. A beautiful reminder that joy is something we can choose on purpose. 💫🌙
