The SpriTec track club family would want to extends our warmest congratulations to Kadrian Goldson on two immaculate performances at the Gabarone 2026 world relays in Botswana, Goldson like his name suggest helped Jamaica Mixed 4*100m relay team to mind gold in the event. The team broke the world records in both the heats and the final. The team of Akeem Blake, Tina Clayton, Goldson and Tia Clayton clocked a world record of 39:99 second to qualify to the finals, the same quartet came back to the finals to better their own world record in a massive 39:62 second. Goldson who is among one of the 2 Jamaican men who’s already under the 10 seconds barrier legally this year is looking forward to an even more successful season ahead.

At the recent WRE Gaborone 26 held in Botswana, athletes from Botswana enjoyed being around Team Jamaica during down time on the practice field. They always broke out into a dance and used Jamaican phrases. They were very welcoming.

Team Jamaica dominated its mixed 4x100 qualifying heat at the World Athletics Relays in Gaborone, Botswana, with the first sub-40 second time (39.99) in the event ever to reach the final and the World Athletics Championship.
