In 2022, during the shut down pandemic year(s) we were able to utilize the helicopter to shred with our friends, family, and the few lucky guests who were either in or able to make it to Japan. Feb 5, 2022 was truly one of the best days ever recorded in history and we were able to share it with , .jp and .takehiro guiding. HUGE dump the night before, sunny ALL day and then back to the regularly scheduled powder program later that night. While we cannot guarantee the weather the chances for days like this are higher in Hokkaido than anywhere else in the entire world. Totally and completely thankful!! 🙏

Hokkaido Backcountry Club and Black Diamond Lodge and tours are proud to announce that we will be managing an alternative property this season. Not only is the property ideally located within quick access to the Moiwa ski area and fantastic backcountry, but it also comes with its own helipad!! The best part is that we have accommodation to suit every budget and group size from 1-12. This is your first sneak peak.
