The Hokkaido Backcountry Club offers the best in extreme mountain recreation while advocating for expanded backcountry access and safety in Japan.
The Hokkaido Backcountry Club (HBC) is a club dedicated to increasing awareness, education, cooperation and information exchange between recreational skiers, boarders, snowmobile enthusiasts, guiding companies, heli and cat ski operators and the government of Hokkaido by offering a meeting place both on an offline to discuss safety and environmental issues as they relate to mountain snow and summer sports.
北海道バックカントリークラブ(HBC)はニセコをベースにヘリコプター、雪上車（CAT)、ゲレンデ、バックカントリーツアー、雪崩講習会を実施しているクラブです。
The current situation of sledding in Japan. We certainly hope it changes in the future, especially as sleds get more efficient on fuel. Please let us know if you have heard or know of something different. Always looking for some positive moves forward.

We have been removed without explanation by the Instagram bots and it either has been a random removal which seems to be happening to tens of thousands of people recently, or it was reported by viewers as something that violates the community guidelines. Funny thing is that we are trying to protect a community here in Japan by spreading facts and information, not opinions or hate messages. We have worked incredibly hard to build up this page and I apologize to all, as I have lost many if not most of your contacts. We will appeal this and we will rebuild. We promise to come back stronger than ever.
