We are two youth sailors from Kemah, TX and Riverside, CT sailing for USA and striving to become the number one I420 team in world. Thanks,
Wiley & Jack (Wack)

After teaming up in the fall (Autumn) of 2014 with Wiley helming and Jack crewing, we have been sharpening our boat speed and handling through weekend training in the Long Island Sound, Galveston Bay, and Biscayne Bay mainly in I420. Having just finished a successful summer with a win at Kiel Woche in the 420 and the 420 Junior Europeans and a second at the 420 World Championship, we continue our

Just finished up the Trofeo S.A.R. Princesa Sofia regatta here in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Not our best event, but many learning lessons taken away from the event. Ended up 26th overall. Although we did not have the event we were hoping for we are very happy with the positives we took away from the event and are ready for SWC Hyeres in a couple weeks!

Excited to come back with great news for the month of January! To kick off the racing we had the 470 North Americans where we had some good moments, but learned so much and ended up 8th. Next, we ended January with the Sailing World Cup Miami, which marked the start of this next quad. We were super excited to take many of the learned lessons into the regatta and put together a solid event! We were super excited to qualify for our first medal race! With pulling out a 3rd place in the medal race we were able to pass one boat in the overall rankings and improve our position in the regatta to 6th. It has been a super efficient and effective month for us and looking forward to our next training camp in Miami in a week! More to come.

After a very successful regatta at the Youth World Championship, where we manage to uphold the legacy by bringing the trophy back home to the US, we have now permanently moved into the 470. This weekend is the 470 North Americans and the week after is Miami World Cup. These promise to be some great regattas with some great competition. Team Wack would like to thank everyone for their ongoing support.

Love, Team Wack

After a first day of no racing, 3 and half days of light air, and some wind at the end we finished 2nd at the Worlds for the second year in a row, the first under 18 team. Although we were hoping for a better result, we are extremely happy with our finish, especially after coming back from our 11th position on Day 4. A great experience in Italy with some extremely competitive racing and many new friends. Next we have the US Youth Championship in San Diego, which is the qualifier for the ISAF youth worlds. Looks like another light venue, but super pumped. Till next time...
