🚨 WORLD CLASS ACTIONS CAMP 🚨

We’re excited to welcome Olympic Champion Kevin Jackson to Maverick on September 27th.

An Olympic Gold Medalist, 2X World Champion, 4X NCAA All-American, former USA Wrestling Olympic Team Coach, and current Assistant Coach at the University of Michigan.

Coach Jackson has competed and coached at the absolute highest levels of our sport, and this camp will focus on shot finishes and baseline skills that translate through every level of wrestling.

The skills that build a wrestler’s foundation and continue to matter as they move up through the sport.

A weekend to remember for Maverick.

We kicked things off Saturday with our Seth Gross Camp, where our wrestlers had the opportunity to train alongside athletes from all around the country who were in town for RAF weekend. Huge thank you to Coach Seth for another outstanding clinic. He shared techniques and positions that are effective from the youth level all the way to the international stage.

Saturday night, a wave of Maverick blue made its way to Milwaukee to experience RAF Wrestling live and watch some of the biggest stars in our sport compete. Thank you to all of our Maverick parents who made the trip and gave these kids an experience they’ll remember for a long time. Opportunities like this fuel their passion for wrestling.

We wrapped up the weekend on Sunday at the RAF NextGen Championships, where our wrestlers battled some of the toughest competition from around the country. Several earned the chance to compete for championships, with wrestlers representing Maverick competing live on Fox Nation.

Weekends like this are what it’s all about - training with great partners, competing against the best, supporting each other, and creating memories with teammates and friends from across the country.

Thank you to all of our coaches, parents, and athletes who helped make the weekend possible. We couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead.

Now it’s back to work. 💪

What a night at Maverick for our latest Maverick Elite Session led by Seth Gross.

We had wrestlers from 13 different states represented: Wisconsin, Illinois, Pennsylvania, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Washington, California, and Florida.

It was incredible to see so many high-level young athletes from across the country come together in Southern Wisconsin with one goal - to push each other and improve. The room was filled with state champions, national champions, and countless other tough wrestlers chasing those same goals. Kids who have wrestled each other in state finals and national finals were training side by side, making each other better. Iron sharpens iron, and bringing together athletes of this caliber raises everyone’s level.

The commitment from these wrestlers and their families is what makes opportunities like this possible. We’re grateful for the relationships and friendships being built through this sport, and we can’t wait to host the next Maverick Elite Session.
