International School of Nagano - ISN

International School of Nagano - ISN ISN is an IB candidate school (July 2017). ISN also offers swimming, music, physical education, tennis, arts and crafts and intensive private English lessons.

👉🏽 ISN is Located in 3 big cities in Nagano Prefecture: Matsumoto City, Nagano City, and Nakano City.

✏️We are an IB-International Baccalaureate Accredited School.

😉 Our school has about 320 students and counting, from 0 years old to middle school. ISN (International School of Nagano) is an English-Japanese, bilingual preschool and elementary school situated in Matsumoto City in Japan’s beautiful Nagano Prefecture, serving families in Matsumoto and surrounding communities. With seven, great capacity classrooms plus a play-castle playground in our Minami-Matsumoto Campus (preschool), we will open a second campus in Shimauchi (preschool and elementary school) and in 2017 we are enrolling students from 2 years old, up to and including Grade 4. We are a wonderfully diverse school, currently serving about 120 students with a vibrant and dedicated faculty, devoted parents, and a committed Board of Education. ISN’s teacher to student ratio is on average 1:15 and this exceptionally low ratio enables our experienced teachers to readily conduct an IB based approach to the curriculum. The main duty of the teacher is to lead their class with excitement and passion for a world standard education, while implementing an enquiry-based approach to instruction.

Valentine’s Chocolate Making 🍫✨

Pouring chocolate into tiny molds is trickier than it looks!
But the students took their time - with steady hands, careful eyes, and lots of focus. 👀💝
Sometimes with a little help from their teachers, each mold was filled gently and neatly. 👩‍🍳🧑‍🍳
Patience and care make the sweetest treats.
