My goal for the Nara Yoshinkan Enmeikan dojo is to practice self defence techniques of pre war aikid My name is Reg Sakamoto. My first start was in jujutsu.
I have been studying Japanese combative arts since 1976. I have dan rankings in Goju ryu karate, judo, jodo, iaido and aikido. I currently hold a 6th dan in Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu iaiheiho. A 5th dan shidoin in Yoshinkan aikido. I also currently hold jokyu in Hozoin ryu Takada ha sojutsu and I am the Nara shibucho of Hyoho Niten Ichi Ryu kenjutsu.
