弓道教室は週に5回行っており、日置當流の理解をより深める弓術教室を週1回行っています。最近は少しずつですが、新規入門者も増えてきました。木曜日の教室には身長が190㎝以上あるアメリカ人の男性も在籍しており、熱心に稽古されています。
当道場の弓道教室は全く弓道をした事がない方でも基礎から指導する内容になっています。

Our Kyudo classes are held five times a week. We also have a Kyujutsu class once a week, where we study and practice Heki To Ryu more deeply.

Recently, little by little, more new students have started joining us. There is also an American man who is over 190 cm tall in our Thursday class. He practices very hard and enjoys learning Kyudo.

Our Kyudo classes are designed for beginners. Even if you have never practiced Kyudo before, we will teach you everything from the basics in a kind and careful way.

当道場所属の井上泰夫さんが、青森国スポ中国地区ブロック大会に岡山県選抜として出場し、総合1位で見事突破し、青森県で行われる本大会への出場を決めました！遠的は一人で71点を出す大活躍でチームを牽引しました。本大会でも頑張ってください！

日置當流では技量や知識の優れた門下生に授ける「印可巻」という巻物があります。首巻「神道之巻」、臍巻「日置流弓目録」、足巻「無言歌」の三軸があり、全て授かると免許皆伝となります。段階を経て足巻から一軸ずつ授けるのが普通ですが、特に技量が優れている場合は、三軸を一度に授与することもあります。日置流を修練する者にとっては、この三軸を授かる事は大きな目標です。

In Heki Tō-ryū, there is a scroll called the Inka Scroll, which is given to students who have excellent skill and knowledge. It consists of three scrolls: the Shintō no Maki (Head Scroll), the Heki-ryū Yumi Mokuroku (Middle Scroll), and the Mugonka (Foot Scroll). A student who receives all three scrolls is recognized as having completed the full transmission of the tradition. Usually, the scrolls are awarded one at a time, starting with the Foot Scroll. However, if a student has exceptional skill, all three scrolls may be awarded at the same time. For those who study Heki-ryū, receiving these three scrolls is a great goal.

【弓道教室　生徒募集のお知らせ】
このたび徳山弓道場では新規弓道教室を開講することとなり、生徒を募集しています。
開講曜日と時間は次の通りです。

①毎週水曜日 午後1時～午後３時
②毎週水曜日 午後4時30分～午後6時
③毎週木曜日 午後7時～午後9時

３教室のうち、いずれか1教室に在籍となります。複数教室に通われたい方はご相談ください。
各教室とも7名前後の定員を考えておりますので、応募多数の場合は抽選とさせていただきます。
入会金や月謝等については、お問い合わせください。

なお②の教室は小学生とその保護者を主な対象にしております。

徳山弓道場では今後、小学生以上を対象にした「日置當流体験」を実施します。早ければ4月から実施しようと思っていますので、詳細が決まればfacebookやX、Instagram等で告知します。

徳山弓道場では初心者や弓道を再開したい方を対象にした「弓道教室」を開催しています。現在は毎週水曜日と土曜日に行っており、中学生から70歳代まで約30人が在籍しています。入会は随時募集しているため、生徒一人一人進捗度合いは違いますが、上達状況に合わせて指導をしています。
これまで徳山弓道場は高校や大学で日置流系統の射法を学んでいた人がよく入門していましたが、日置當流をもっと多くの人に広めていきたいという思いから、初心者も積極的に入門していただいています。
今後弓道教室の開催も増やしていく予定にしておりますので、興味がある方はお気軽にメッセージをお願いします。

Tokuyama Kyudo Dojo offers a "Kyudo Class" for beginners and those looking to resume their practice. Classes are currently held every Wednesday and Saturday, with about 30 members ranging from junior high school students to people in their 70s. Since we accept new members at any time, progress varies for each student, and we provide tailored instruction to match each individual's skill level.
In the past, many of our members were those who had previously studied the Heki-ryu style in high school or university. However, with the goal of sharing Heki To-ryu with a wider audience, we are now actively welcoming beginners as well.

11日、当道場の射初会を開催しました。雪が舞い、寒風吹き荒ぶ厳しい天候でしたが、20名の門人が参加しました。参加者それぞれ、今年一年の課題を考えるような射会になりました。

結果は次の通り。

3位　森ありさ(高校生) 13中

On the 11th, we held our dojo’s Izomukai (the first archery ceremony of the year). Despite the harsh weather with dancing snow and biting cold winds, 20 members participated. It was a meaningful event where each archer reflected on their personal goals and challenges for the coming year.
The results are as follows:

11日、岡山武道館の鏡開式で「巻藁前体配」を演武しました。射手は師家・徳山陽介、控は幹事・青井健二で務めました。
巻藁前体配は日置當流で最も格式高い体配で、江戸時代には岡山藩の初月行事「具足開き」で藩主の前で披露されていました。具足開きは現代の鏡開きに相当するもので、その伝統に則り披露しています。
日置當流では基本的、裸足で稽古や体配の披露をしますが、巻藁前体配は藩主の前で披露するため、射手は特別に足袋の着用が許されており、当時は大変名誉な事だったといわれています。

On January 11th, a demonstration of "Makiwara-mae Taihai" was performed during the Kagami-biraki ceremony at the Okayama Budokan. Master Yosuke Tokuyama served as the archer (Ite), while Kenji Aoi, the group's executive secretary, served as the assistant (Hikira).
Makiwara-mae Taihai is the most prestigious ceremonial form within the Heki-To-ryu school. During the Edo period, it was performed before the feudal lord (Daimyo) during "Gusoku-biraki," a New Year’s ritual of the Okayama Domain. Since Gusoku-biraki is the historical equivalent of the modern-day Kagami-biraki, we continue to perform this demonstration today in honor of that tradition.
In the Heki-To-ryu school, practitioners typically train and perform barefoot. However, because Makiwara-mae Taihai was performed in the presence of the feudal lord, the archer was exceptionally permitted to wear tabi (traditional socks). At the time, being allowed to wear tabi was considered a great honor.

この１月をもちまして、正式に日置當流の「師家」に就く事といたしました。先代師家・徳山英則先生の一周忌を終え、落ち着いた事もあり決意いたしました。
英則先生の養子となった時から私の使命は日置當流を次代へ繋ぐ事だと考え、射術や体配、それらに纏わる知識などを学んでまいりました。
流派の継承には門下生の存在が欠かせません。まずは在籍する門下生が学びやすい環境を整えると同時に門戸をこれまでより広げ、多くの方に日置當流を学んでいただける機会を設け、日置流の発展と研究に努めてまいります。

I am pleased to formally announce that as of this January, I have succeeded to the position of Shike (Headmaster) of the Heki-To-ryu school of kyudo. Following the first anniversary of the passing of the late Headmaster, Hidenori Tokuyama Sensei, and having allowed for a period of reflection, I have made this firm resolution.
Since becoming the adopted son of Hidenori Sensei, I have considered it my mission to pass on the traditions of Heki-To-ryu to the next generation. To this end, I have dedicated myself to mastering the shooting techniques (shajutsu), formal movements (taihai), and the profound knowledge associated with our school.
The succession of a tradition is impossible without its practitioners. My first priority is to create an environment where current students can learn more effectively. Simultaneously, I intend to open our doors wider than ever before, providing more people with the opportunity to study Heki-To-ryu. Through these efforts, I will strive for the further development and scholarly research of the Heki style.
