Celebrating Hinamatsuri: The Doll Festival 🎎
Today marks Hinamatsuri, a beautiful Japanese tradition celebrated every March 3rd! Also known as Girl's Day, it is a special time for families to pray for the health, happiness, and prosperity of their daughters.

To celebrate, families display a set of ornamental dolls called Hina-ningyo, representing a traditional imperial wedding. The displays are often decorated with vibrant peach blossoms, which symbolize a long and healthy life.

It’s a day filled with color, tradition, and hope for a bright future!

Did you know today is Setsubun in Japan? It’s a tradition to welcome spring by chasing away bad luck!

Oni wa Soto! (Demons out!) 👹👋 We throw roasted soybeans at "Oni" (demons) to drive away sickness and misfortune.

Fuku wa Uchi! (Good luck in!) 🌸😊 We invite happiness and prosperity into our homes.
