患難見真情。
6am. Blizzard conditions.
Taxi cancelled last minute.
Flight to KL at risk.
I texted my football coach.
He replied within minutes:
“I’m coming.”
No hesitation.
He drove through heavy snow to send me to the station.

Halfway there, his car got stuck in knee-deep powder.
Another car stuck behind him.
So instead of being rescued —
we grabbed shovels and rescued the rescuer 😂

In the end?
The trains were cancelled anyway.
The flight didn’t matter.
The character did.
In good weather, everyone seems dependable.
In storms, you see who truly shows up.
Grateful for people who act first — and calculate later. ❄️

While I'm not a Singaporean yet, I've been brought up by Singapore since I was 2 years old and everything I have today, from my education to my home, my marriage, my teams, businesses etc, is built upon the solid foundation of a well led country.

What Singapore has created over the years can only be admired and envied by billions elsewhere. As we reap and harvest the fruits, as we enjoy the shade, let us not forget those who have sown the seeds and labored with their blood, sweat and tears.

Let's love and appreciate this home not just today, but every other day. 🤜🏼🤛🏼
