Motion Breakdowns

As part of our Regional Development Initiative we collaborated with the CA teams of Accra Open and Kumamoto NEADC to create motion breakdown videos.

Additionally, Erasmus Segbefia in representation of our CAP also joined the CA Team at Accra Open, held in person from August 22 to August 24, 2024 in Ghana. We thank ASPADE and Org Comm for their support.

We hope this serves as a good learning tool for the community!

[Two-Time World Champion Speaks: How to Disagree Well]

On June 23rd, 2024, JPDU was honored to invite Bo Seo, the debate legend and the two-time debate world champion, to Tokyo and host a special lecture with 100+ audiences across many generations around Japan. The event was in cooperation with e Hayakawa Publishing which published the Japanese edition of his profound book "Good Arguments". Bo spent time actively interacting with our audiences and answered many questions raised in the Q&A Session.

2024年6月23日、JPDUはボー・ソ（ボ・セオ）氏（ディベートのレジェンド・二度の世界一を達成）を講師として東京にお招きし、日本中から100名を超える幅広い世代が参加した来日講演会を開催いたしました。本イベントは、講師の著書 "Good Arguments" の邦訳版を出版した株式会社早川書房様にご協力いただきました。講師には、参加者と積極的に交流いただき、対談では多くの質問にご回答いただきました。
