C words and F words.
A short rant.
I’m the worst businessman. I am not a businessman. I suck at business models even if I went to college for it but I guess I sucked at that too. If you’re seeing this you probably know about diveGODS and support it in some way, and know it’s my thing but it’s not a business. I always called the FOB I have a shop, and there isn’t any selling points, just you and me or us and a hub and site for us to join and grow. If you’re reading this we may have kicked it once or twice and have a bit of a kinship, and that’s what has been going through my mind lately and why I plainly am not a business-mayne. When I get the “Elite Instructor” piece of cardboard or now “E”notification, it’s humbling to feel those #’s and support, but it’s nothing if it’s just for a “count”, or another “C” word, what I do is for “F” words. If you’ve come this far in reading this, you already know you aren’t a “Customer, Client, or Consumer”, and this is why I fail at business but I couldn’t be happier, you are “Friend, Family, and in the aspect of scuba training a god/dess/non-binary or whatever else you feel.
I’m so lucky to have the chance to meet and hang with all of you, especially in this reference to my divers and ethereal beings who have shown they can splash in the ocean and splash above all others. Like that fast car movie or whatever, “we’re family”, and I just want to thank all of you wonderful submersible beings who’ve made being a scuba instructor (or artist or cooker) one of the greatest accomplishments I can ever receive. Seeing you WIN…even if I suck at biz…
