Back-Step Check Hook Counter – 25th January Competition
A clean, well-timed counter built on fundamentals.
As the opponent stepped in to attack, our boxer created just enough space with a short back step, letting the punch fall short.
From that missed shot, the lead check hook came in sharp and controlled, catching the opponent while they were off-balance and moving forward.
No wasted movement, no rush, just calm distance control, good balance, and precise timing.
A classic counter executed the right way, proving that simple, disciplined boxing still wins at competition level.
