🏆Jonas Vingegaard🇩🇰 wins Stage 7 of the Giro d’Italia🇮🇹

Behind the Visma rider, 🥈Felix Gall🇦🇹 and 🥉Jai Hindley🇦🇺 completed the podium.

The first mountain-top finish stage featured the climb to Blockhaus⛰️, where Visma set a brutal pace from the start to thin out the peloton very effectively. After climbing at a relentless tempo, Vingegaard🇩🇰 attacked with 5 km to the summit, followed by the young Pellizzari🇮🇹. The two rode away together, with the Dane leading throughout before eventually dropping the Red Bull rider just before the final kilometer.

From that moment on, Vingegaard🇩🇰 powered solo to the finish, taking 13 seconds on Gall🇦🇹 and 1 minute on the group containing Hindley, Pellizzari, and O’Connor. Meanwhile, the maglia rosa lost 2’54” today but still keeps the overall jersey
