Elagerini Athletics Agency (EAA) is the official organizer of the conservation-based Annual Kaptagat Forest Marathon in collaboration with Athletics Kenya. The agency has conducted two successful races (2018 and 2019 editions).

The Coronavirus 19 pandemic has put on hold the preparation for the 2020 race that was scheduled for 6 September 2020.
