Today, we had the honour of hosting the Parliamentary Committee on Trade, Investment, and Industry at Rivatex East Africa Limited led by their chairman Hon. Bernard Shinali.
The visit focused on assessing the current status of our operations and exploring areas of collaboration to further strengthen Kenya’s textile industry. The committee toured our facility and commended the transformative progress and innovation taking place at Rivatex.
We appreciate their encouraging remarks and their commitment to continued support as we work towards industrial revitalization, job creation, and sustainable local manufacturing.

At Rivatex East Africa Limited, we were delighted to host students from various schools who toured our facility to learn about the textile manufacturing process.
The students had a firsthand experience of our fully integrated textile value chain — from spinning, weaving, dyeing, printing, to garment making. It was an insightful and inspiring learning opportunity that exposed them to the world of textile innovation and industrial practices.

Today, we were honoured to host a delegation of tutors from Rift Valley Technical Training Institute (RVTTI), led by Principal Mrs. Loice Yator, on a courtesy visit to the Managing Director of Rivatex East Africa Limited, CPA Stanley Bett.
The visit focused on forging a transformative partnership between Rivatex and RVTTI, with the aim of establishing a national hub for textile skills development, industrial training, and innovation. This collaboration is in line with Kenya’s industrialisation strategy and youth employment agenda, targeting the empowerment of young people through hands-on, industry-relevant skills.

Rivatex East Africa Limited had the pleasure of hosting a multi-agency delegation today on a key verification mission.
The team comprised representatives from the Ministry of Investments, Trade and Industry (State Department for Industry and Trade), KEBS, KRA, KEPSA, KAM, and other textile industry consultants.
The purpose of the visit was to assess Rivatex’s production capacity in relation to specific HS Codes requested by garment manufacturers under consideration for the Duty Remission Scheme.
The delegation was received by our Managing Director, CPA Stanley Bett, for a courtesy call before proceeding on a tour of our facility.
We appreciate the interest and collaboration aimed at strengthening local textile manufacturing and promoting industrial growth.
