Diani Kite Club is a kiteschool located on the Kenyan coast; in the heart of a tropical paradise, under palm trees and white sandy beaches.

We are a dedicated team of kitesurfers sharing our passion for the water since 2011. We are always seeking the next adventure while living life on the beach. At DKC, you will find anything from full moon sessions to fresh post-kiting coconuts and all in-between :)

BEFORE + AFTER (6 years later 👀)

It’s so fascinating to look back at images of the how the kite club used to look over the years. Somehow you still spot similar object in the same places as 6 years ago. Maybe even kitesurfers are actually creatures of habit after all 😌🎞️

P.S. I think we can all agree that adding plants will only ever elevate your space so KEEP PLANTING 🍃🌿🪻

How to pick the perfect beginner spot to learn kitesurfing ⚡️

Getting started in a new extreme sport can be intimidating at times. Well, never fear because we’ve got the most important tips we all wished we knew when starting out:

1. Find a kiteschool with instructors whom you REALLY trust 🫱🏽‍🫲🏿❤️ Don't be afraid to ask questions about the lessons and how they're structured. You can also ask friends or family who have learned in the same place or look up reviews online to find the perfect option for you 🌟

2. Look for a spot with a designated area for kitesurfers and kite lessons, with no obstacles in the way 🗿 While there are tons of amazing kitesurfing spots out there, make sure to choose one suitable for your skill level. “World-class” and “tricky” often go together, so don’t be too tempted to follow your advanced rider friends.

3. Pick a spot where the water is warm, and the sun is shining ALL DAY LONG 🌞 Well.. okay, that’s definitely not a necessity, but you can’t say we didn't tell you - Diani Beach has it all 🌴

Your level in kitesurfing can be measured by the tricks you are able to perform or the frequency at which you can execute them. It can also be measured by your ability to not only spot the photographer but also maintain direct eye 👁 contact with the camera throughout the entire ex*****on of the trick 🧙🏼‍♂️💧
