Throwing it back to when we launched the first ever Agrivoltaic system In Africa. Agrivoltaic systems is an agricultural system that delivers solar electricity, Crop production and rainwater harvesting on the same land area providing maximum energy and food securiy benefits. Since we launched, we have succesfully produced maize, kale, cabbage and tomoto crops!

Did You know that thrips, whiteflies and aphids are among some of the notorious pests that affect capsicum farming. Scouting for early identification is key for effective management of these pests. Our trainees learn on how to scout for these pests through our intensive and practical short courses.

Vermicomposting? What is it?; It is the process by which the red earth worm transforms decaying plant material or organic waste into a Resultant material called Vermicompost. This material (vermicompost) can be a highly effective fertiliser, or soil conditioner, when applied correctly. It can also be used as a foliar to add nutrients to the soil.
