Some journeys are defined by trophies. Others are defined by the courage to keep going when the trophy seems just out of reach.
For us, this season was a test of character, resilience and belief.
Across six legs of the SportPesa 7s Series, we endured both triumphant moments and unlucky, the long journeys and the heartbreak of four consecutive final defeats. Yet, through it all, we never stopped believing.
10th at Prinsloo.
2nd at Dala.
3rd at Kabeberi.
4th at Driftwood.
3rd at Embu.
And finallyโฆ CHAMPIONS at the historic 60th Christie 7s.
A 24โ12 victory over Strathmore Leos delivered the breakthrough we had fought so hard for.
But this trophy represents more than a title. It represents every setback we overcame, every lesson we learned, every player who kept pushing, every coach who kept believing and every fan who stood with us through it all.
Never Say End.
To our players and technical bench, thank you for the sacrifice, discipline and unwavering belief.
To our ever present fans, thank you for riding with us through every high and every low.
To Menengai Cream and Aquamist, thank you for believing in this team and supporting the journey.
The 7s chapter closes as champions.
Now, we turn the page.
15s awaits.
We will keep fighting.
We will keep improving.
And above all, we will Never Say End.
Yours,
MENENGAI OILERS, 2026 CHRISTIE 7s CHAMPIONS. ๐
